Peter Tourtellot is one of the founding principals of Anderson Bauman Tourtellot Vos & Company. He has served as interim CEO and President of companies in a wide variety of industry sectors in the role of turnaround professional, and as a consultant to many others. He managed the turnaround of a large, respected distribution firm which was just days from filing bankruptcy before he took the helm.

A leader in the development of the turnaround management profession, Mr. Tourtellot is a past President and Chairman of the Turnaround Management Association, and currently serves on the Carolinas chapter Board of Directors. He has been elected President of the association’s Certification Oversight Committee, a position that was created upon the merger of the Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals into the Turnaround Management Association in January, 2008. In this position, Mr. Tourtellot also serves as Vice President of Certification on the TMA Executive Committee and Board of Directors.

Mr. Tourtellot is a past President and Chairman of the Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals and served as Vice President of Education and a member of their Board of Directors prior to the merger.

A frequent contributor to professional journals, he is co-author of “How To Save A Client” for the North Carolina State Bar Quarterly, and author of “Successful Corporate Turnarounds: Operational Expertise Makes the Difference for The Journal of Private Equity, among others.

Mr. Tourtellot graduated from the University of Phoenix with a degree in business administration and is a graduate of the Executive Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a member of the advisory board for the Love School of Business at Elon University where he was elected Chairman in 2003, and also serves as a director of several companies engaged in manufacturing, retailing, construction and distribution.
